The carrier will be able to hold your pet’s weight because all carriers have been through testing with heavy weights stored in them. as long as your pet’s body length can fit inside the carrier when they’re in a down position there shouldn’t be a problem fitting them in. It’ll also make a difference whether you’re ok with their head out on either side of the carrier, usually that is more comfortable for the pet and would probably allow heavier dogs to fit into the carrier.
